Update and video

Just an update on us:
Kason went to the NICU for about 48 hours last week because he had a little bout with jaundice. He's doing really well now and is hardly yellow at all!
No offense to anyone, but I'm claiming paranoid first-time mom and not accepting visitors for a few more weeks. Thank you to everyone who stopped by with gifts, food, or just warm wishes. I'll let ya'll know when Kason is ready for visitors.
In the meantime, I will utilize my new Flip and post videos of any little thing I think is worthy...

I'll preface this video with the acknowledgement that I am probably the only one who cares how cute Kason is while sleeping.... HOWEVER, I must post this video because Kason is moaning in his sleep, which is something my mom and grandma both do! Sorry the quality is bad- Kason is in my arms so I can't see what I'm recording.....

Born March 11, 2010 at 5:19 pm. 9 pounds 13 ounces, 21 inches. Just a beautiful baby boy!

I was at 3 cm from Wednesday night until noon today- got to a 7 right at 4:00, then dilated to a 10 by 4:49 when I started pushing!!!!!

Epidural = BEST THING EVER

Haven't been this pain free for months. Will let everyone know when Kason makes his appearance!!!

UPDATE- now with picture

Woohooooooo. Baby Kason is coming this week, PERIOD! My leg has been giving out because K is sitting on a couple of nerves, so apparently in compensation I've been swinging out my legs when I walk (shut up).... as a result I have jammed my baby toe about eight times (shut up again). But what really concerned my doc is the fact that I FALL DOWN at night when I get up to go to the bathroom because my legs/hips/pelvic region is so sore and nervy. So.... drumroll....... I am getting induced TOMORROW night!!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO. And that's only if I don't go into labor on my own today.... which I may do because apparently I'm looking GOOD for it to happen soon.

Once I take a shower and get pretty I will add a pic to this post.... or not... depending on how many chins I have today.
...only two chins and that's about as good as it will get!!!

BTW- the BEST news of my doc appointment?!? I've lost 4 pounds!!! So I've officially only gained 32 pounds this pregnancy!

In Case You Were Wondering

Still pregnant...

And ginormously bloated. Awesome. I was able to gain 9 pounds in two weeks.... which brings my total gain to 36 pounds. So much for my goal of only gaining 25. :(
